Tax assessments lists for residents in the town of Roxbury, 1697-1804 (with gaps) transcribed by Prof. Theodore F. Jones from originals housed with the Boston City Clerk. Includes name of resident and amount assessed. Some years also contain statistics on housing and land, horses and livestock owned, and slaves. Assessments divided by East and West Parish, and East and West side of the river.
